Welcome to Finale DB. These Terms of Use explain what you can and cannot do with our site, data, and services.

By accessing or using Finale DB (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Ownership of Content

All data, product information, performance descriptions, images, videos, simulations, software, code, user interface elements, designs, layouts, and other materials on the Service (collectively, "Content") are owned by Finale Fireworks, Inc., its licensors, or the respective rights holders and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not remove or alter copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
You may not claim ownership of Content that is not yours.

Limited License & Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.

No copying, downloading, scraping, harvesting, or exporting of the Content or database in whole or substantial part.
No reproduction, distribution, sale, licensing, renting, or exploitation of the Content or Service without prior written consent.
No reverse engineering or creation of derivative works of the Service, including the user interface, workflows, and designs.
No circumvention of security measures, rate limits, or access restrictions.

Anti-Scraping, Bots, and Automated Access

Use of bots, crawlers, spiders, scrapers, or other automated means to access or copy the Service or Content is prohibited unless expressly authorized by us in writing.
Systematic or repeated access designed to extract data is prohibited.

Database & Compilation Rights

The compilation, selection, coordination, and arrangement of data on Finale DB constitute a protected database/compilation. Systematic extraction or reutilization of any substantial part of the database is prohibited.

User-Generated Content (UGC)

Users may upload, submit, or provide data, images, videos, simulations, text, or other materials ("User-Generated Content").

You retain ownership of your UGC. By submitting it, you grant Finale Fireworks a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, modify, and distribute it in connection with the Service.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit your UGC and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any laws.
We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to review, refuse, or remove UGC for any reason.

Disclaimer: Responsibility for UGC

Finale Fireworks does not endorse, control, or guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of UGC. We are not liable for any loss, damage, claim, or dispute arising from UGC, including infringement, offensive content, inaccuracies, or omissions. Any reliance on UGC is at your own risk.

Prohibited Conduct

Interfering with or disrupting the Service or servers.
Accessing data or accounts you are not authorized to access.
Copying or imitating the Service's "look and feel," interface flows, or design for a competing service.
Using the Service in violation of applicable laws or rights of others.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate access and pursue legal remedies for violations, including unauthorized scraping, copying, or replication of our Content, database, or interface.
